All-on-4 & All-on-6 Implant Cases (7-10 Days)

Arrival and orientation (1 day): Meet clinical team, final imaging, surgical preparation. Surgery day (1 day): Full-arch implant placement under sedation, temporary prosthesis fabrication and insertion (same day delivery on healthy cases), immediate post-operative instructions and pain management. Post-operative monitoring (3-5 days): Daily check-ins to assess implant integration and temporary prosthesis function, swelling management, oral hygiene instruction, dietary guidance. Permanent prosthesis fitting (1-2 days): Definitive prosthesis insertion, bite adjustment, final aesthetic refinement. Travel clearance (0.5 days): Final clinical assessment confirming implant stability, prosthesis security, and fitness to fly. This timeline accommodates individual variation—some patients integrate faster and depart earlier, whilst others benefit from extended monitoring.

Zygomatic Implant Cases (10-14 Days)

Arrival and planning (1 day): Complex cases require thorough pre-surgical assessment. Surgery (1-2 days): Zygomatic implant placement is technically complex and may involve extended operative time; some cases benefit from staged placement. Post-operative monitoring (5-7 days): Extended observation is standard for zygomatic cases to assess soft tissue healing, implant stability, and any swelling response. Lab work progresses in parallel. Prosthetic fitting (1-2 days): Definitive prosthesis insertion and adjustment. Travel clearance and extended monitoring protocol (1-2 days): Final assessment with conservative discharge criteria, clear protocols for remote follow-up post-return to Spain.

Smile Design & Veneer Cases (5-7 Days)

Arrival and digital design session (1 day): Meet the smile design team, review your digital smile mockup, confirm the aesthetic direction. Tooth preparation (1 day): Local anaesthesia, tooth preparation, temporary veneers placed. Lab fabrication (2-3 days): Custom veneer fabrication whilst you rest and recover from preparation. Veneer bonding and adjustment (1 day): Delivery of permanent veneers, bonding, bite adjustment, final aesthetic verification. Post-operative instructions and travel clearance (0.5 days): Bite guidance, dietary recommendations, and fitness to fly assessment.

Complex Multi-Discipline Cases (8-14 Days)

Complex cases combining implants, grafting, bone work, or major smile design typically require 8–14 days depending on the exact scope. Your coordinator maps each phase and explains the clinical reasoning. Staged workflows (where some phases occur before travel and others after) can be arranged if your schedule is constrained.

Travel Clearance Protocol

Final travel clearance is not automatic—it requires clinical assessment confirming that you are medically safe to fly. Assessment includes verification that post-operative swelling is minimal or absent, any wounds are healing without infection, implants or prostheses are securely integrated and stable, you have no active infection or fever, and there are no complications suggesting need for immediate further intervention. Your clinician provides written clearance in your handover package confirming your fitness to fly, which you may share with your airline if needed (though it's rarely questioned).

Typically within 48 hours of treatment plan approval. Your CRM coordinator sends a detailed day-by-day schedule and reviews it with you in a video call before you book flights. You only proceed once you have complete clarity and confidence.

Can I extend my stay beyond the scheduled dates?

Absolutely. If you wish to stay longer for additional recovery time, sightseeing, or relaxation, your CRM coordinator accommodates this. You simply extend your hotel booking. Some patients prefer extra recovery days in India before the long flight home.

What if my treatment takes longer than the schedule predicts?

Whilst rare, if unexpected complications or slower healing occurs, your coordinator immediately coordinates flight changes, accommodation extension, and additional clinic appointments at no penalty. This is covered under our ethics-driven care model.

Can I do sightseeing or tourism between appointments?

Yes. Rest days and gaps between appointments can include tourism, shopping, or relaxation as you prefer. Your coordinator can arrange guided tours or local experiences if you wish.

What if I have work or family commitments that limit my stay duration?

Discuss this during treatment planning. Your clinician assesses whether your case can be completed within constrained timelines. Some cases (simpler veneers, single implants) fit tight schedules; others (complex full-arch cases) benefit from extended timelines. Your coordinator helps find solutions that balance your constraints with optimal clinical outcomes.

Are there any additional appointments or follow-ups after I return to Spain?

For most cases, no additional trips to India are needed. Your Spanish dentist manages ongoing maintenance and check-ups. However, some complex cases may benefit from a 3-6 month follow-up visit to fine-tune prosthetics or assess long-term integration. This is discussed during planning.
